Clear Aligners
Unlike traditional braces, this kind of orthodontic treatment doesn’t rely on a system of metal brackets and wires.
You can choose from several clear aligner options that use clear, custom trays to shift your teeth without anyone knowing.

Traditional metal braces are the most widely used type of fixed orthodontic appliance.
Traditional metal braces are reliable, effective, and affordable options and have been the symbol of orthodontics for more than 100 years.

Gold Braces
Ask Dr. Dillehay about champagne-colored brackets and wires that let you show off a confident smile throughout your treatment.
These gold-colored brackets are just as durable as traditional metal braces while offering a more subtle, refined appearance.

Hybrid Treatment
Braces + Clear Aligners!
Braces aren’t the only tool to straighten your smile, and at Dillehay Orthodontics, we often combine braces and clear aligner treatments for the best results!
This hybrid treatment helps Dr. Ken Dillehay and Dr. JK Dillehay give you a better treatment experience from start to finish. You’ll start by wearing braces to do the heavy lifting of moving your teeth through bone and correcting your bite.
Next, you’ll wear customized clear aligners to finish the straightening process, giving you a shorter time in braces and better results for your smile.
Fixed Vs. Removable Appliances
There are two main types of orthodontic appliances—fixed and removable. Fixed appliances are attached to your teeth and stay on until your smile is straight.
Removable appliances, like Invisalign clear aligners, are worn most of the day but are easily removed to eat, drink, play sports, or attend special events.
Other than the obvious differences, clear aligners are best at treating mild to moderate orthodontic problems, while fixed appliances are better for more serious, comprehensive treatment.
